Wynne Primary School has a full and festive month planned for December. The month begins with Atlas testing for 1st and 2nd grade on December 1st–3rd. On December 2nd, the 1st Grade Christmas Program will be held at Wynne Baptist Church, with drop-off at 5:30 p.m. and the program starting at 6:00 p.m. Early Out dismissals will take place on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th at 1:45 for car riders and 2:00 for bus riders. Kindergarten students will have Atlas Literacy on December 4th and Atlas Math on December 11th. The Christmas Parade will take place the evening of December 4th at 7:00 p.m.
Students can enjoy Movie Day and Pajama Day—without house shoes—on December 12th, followed by Christmas PJ Day on December 14th. December 16th brings Grinchy Sweater Day and the Ugliest Christmas Sweater celebration. Christmas Parties will be held on December 17th along with Elf & Friends Character Day and Favorite Holiday Character Day. On December 18th, students can wear Merry & Bright class T-shirts or Christmas hats, and we will also have an Early Out dismissal.
Christmas Break begins on December 19th and continues through January 5th. Teacher Professional Development Day is scheduled for January 5th, and students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
