Reminders from the Nurse:
Students must be picked up if they have a fever of 100.4° or higher, vomiting, or diarrhea. They must be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication before returning.
Only medication labeled for school hours or taken 4+ times daily may be given at school. Morning doses must be taken at home with breakfast.
Do not send medication on the bus. All medicine must be dropped off and signed in by an adult.
Please keep weather-appropriate clothes in your child’s backpack—accidents can happen in the cafeteria and on the playground.
Update phone numbers anytime they change so the school can reach you in emergencies.
Inclement Weather Information:
If ice or snow occurs, school closures will be announced by 6:00 a.m. on KWYN (Channel 8, Jonesboro), Channel 7 (Little Rock), and Channel 5 (Memphis).
Updates will also be posted on the school website and Facebook page.
Cooler Weather Reminder:
Send a jacket with your child each day. Students go outside for recess when the weather allows.
Label jackets with your child’s first and last name so they can be returned to you. Lost items are placed in the cafeteria’s lost-and-found. Unclaimed jackets are donated after a period of time.
