This month, Wynne Primary School is highlighting the importance of daily reading at home. Parents are encouraged to spend time reading with their children each day to help build vocabulary, strengthen reading skills, and develop a lifelong love of books. Just 20 minutes of reading a day can make a big difference in a child’s academic success.
WPS will also host Kindergarten Registration for the 2026–2027 school year on March 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the WPS Library. Families with children who will be 5 years old by August 1, 2026, are encouraged to attend and bring the required documents. Early registration is encouraged, and children should be present for screening.
