💙🐝💛Homecoming Dress Up Days 2025💛🐝💙

We are looking forward to you joining us for a fun and interactive night at our annual "Together We Swarm", Yellowjacket Night! This is a K-12 event for all of our families. Our school staff will have several stations with educational activities to promote our students' academic achievement and provide a whole lot of FUN, too! Many of the awesome fine arts groups, clubs, and sports teams will support Yellowjacket Night with great interactive activities for our families! Our amazing “Together We Swarm" Community Partners will be buzzing by to share some great information, resources, and fun activities, too! UA-EACC and their team will be grilling hot dogs to go with chips and a drink for guests. A special Thank You to UA-EACC, Hay’s Food Town, and CrossRidge Community Hospital for our food donations!! Set up will take place any time after 1:00 p.m. on October 16, and we need all participants in place and set up by 5:00 p.m. We appreciate all of our students, schools, and community partners who are joining us for this event! Let's make this an event to remember, Jacket style!!

Wynne Primary’s Jacket Palooza Homecoming Week is October 20–24! Students can join in the fun with themed dress-up days, including pajama day, western day, and school spirit day. Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated October 23–31 with the theme 'Life Is a Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free.' Plus, mark your calendars for the Fall Harvest Celebrations on Thursday, October 30!

October is packed with exciting events at Wynne Primary! We’ll kick things off with Fall Break on October 7, followed by Parent Visitation on the 13th. Kindergarten heads to the Pumpkin Patch on the 19th, and students can enjoy fun dress-up days during Homecoming Week, October 20–24. Don’t miss Yellow Jacket Night on the 16th and our Book Fair from the 14th–22nd. We’ll wrap up the month with Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 27–31), a Harvest Celebration on the 29th, and Halloween fun. We can’t wait to celebrate a safe and spirited October with our WPS family!

Wynne Primary is excited for September! Attendance is so important—remember two tardies equal an absence, and arriving after 8:25 or leaving before 3:00 counts as a half day. We can’t wait to see families at our **Grand Buddy Breakfasts**: Kindergarten on Sept. 15, First Grade on Sept. 16, and Second Grade on Sept. 17 (all 7:30–8:00). This month in our **Choose Love Enrichment Program**, students are learning about **courage**—facing challenges bravely and practicing calming strategies like a “brave breath.” Every day counts, and we’re looking forward to a great month at Wynne Primary!

Wynne Primary School has a busy and exciting September ahead! We’ll kick off the month with Labor Day on September 1, when school will be closed. Picture Day will be held on September 7 for second grade and staff, and on September 8 for kindergarten and first grade. Progress reports will go home on September 9. Our PTA will meet on September 3, and a Title 1 meeting is scheduled for September 11 in the Admin Boardroom. Second-grade students will take a fun field trip to the Tri-County Fair on September 5. We’re also excited to host our “Breakfast with a Grand Buddy” events—Kindergarten on September 15, First Grade on September 16, and Second Grade on September 17. The School Board Meeting will be held on September 22, and we’ll celebrate the first day of fall on September 21. Please note that fire, tornado, and lockdown drills will also be conducted this month to keep our students safe.
