Dear Wynne Schools,
We are excited to share that one of our very own, Camille Cathey, a proud graduate of Wynne Public Schools, is making her way to the Miss America competition this January! Camille, who was crowned Miss Arkansas in June, is now working hard to meet fundraising requirements for the American Heart Association, and we are thrilled to support her on this journey.
To help Camille reach her goal of raising at least $3,000 for this important cause, PTA along with Wynne Public Schools will be hosting a special fundraiser! Beginning Tuesday, November 12th, students will have the opportunity to purchase red paper hearts for $1 each. These hearts will be displayed throughout the school with the student's name on them to show their support.
But that’s not all! As an added incentive, Camille will be drawing one lucky name from all the heart submissions in a few weeks. The winning student will have the opportunity to have Miss Arkansas for a special lunch at their school, where they and a few friends will get to spend time with Camille!
This is a wonderful chance for our community to rally behind Camille as she continues her journey to Miss America. We hope you will encourage your child to participate and show their support for a great cause!
