Return To Learning

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wynne School District Announces Details Regarding Return to Full-Time On-Site Learning for Students

Wynne, Arkansas - As per the details laid out in our Return to Learning Plan, the Wynne School District will be returning to on-site learning for the remainder of this academic year and all subsequent school years. While an online learning option is available, the district has prioritized in-person instruction and will not utilize an online model as the primary mode of education for our student body.

We made this decision after careful consideration of the educational, social, and emotional needs of our students and believe that in-person instruction provides the best educational experience for our students. We believe that the benefits of face-to-face interaction with teachers and peers, access to support services, and participation in extracurricular activities are essential components of a well-rounded education and will aid our students during this difficult period in our district. We will continue to offer our students all of the amazing opportunities to which they are accustomed and hope to add even more in the future.

We also recognize some families prefer the virtual learning option and want to assure them it will continue to be available and staffed by certified teachers to ensure our virtual students receive the same high-quality education as our on-site students.

The Wynne School District recognizes that some families may have concerns about returning to on-site learning, and we want to assure them we have taken every measure to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We are committed to providing the highest quality education for all students in the Wynne School District and believe that unless a student chooses otherwise, an on-site learning environment is the best way to achieve this goal. We look forward to welcoming all students back to our schools for the rest of this academic year and beyond.
