It's GAME DAY! Please note that Jackson and Lemons will close to traffic at 4 PM until the departure of all visiting buses. Also, our new entry screening procedures and clear bag policy will add time to entry, so arrive early to avoid delays in entering the stadium.

The Wynne School District will operate 3-day weeks from September 25 to October 6 during Fall Break. Our buildings and offices will work the following schedule: ALL BUILDINGS AND OFFICES: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM LUNCH MAINTENANCE: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM LUNCH

Attention: We have moved the location of today’s blood drive to the Primary Gym.

Mrs. Kelly Vaught recently took her Career Development students to Harmony Health Clinic to tour and hear about the Health Sciences pathway. Students heard insight from NP Andy Rohrer and PNP-PC Nurse Practitioner Jill Davis on how they care for patients on a daily basis by seeing how and what tests the clinic can run in their state-of-the-art lab, how their digital X-ray machine functions and hearing how important it is to truly care for patients. They also learned about other professions in health care such as Information Technology and Accounting and how they all work together to make the clinic run on a daily basis. WJHS is grateful to Harmony Health Clinic for their partnership with our schools and dedication to our community.

This afternoon, Bus #6 will run its regular route and return on a second route for students who ride Bus #62. Students on the second route (Bus #62) will arrive home late this afternoon.

Parents and students, September 7 is the deadline for students to eat on last school year's meal status. If your student received free or reduced meals last school year, their meal status will go up to full price if the district does not have proper free or reduced rate documentation on file. Breakfast is $1.75 at all schools. Lunch is $2.50 for Primary and Intermediate and $2.75 for Junior High and High School. If you have not turned in an application or received a notification that we have processed your application, please get in touch with us.
