Mrs. Vaught's Careers Class Job Shadowing! Last week, Mrs. Vaught's Careers class had the opportunity to job shadow at local businesses and organizations. This was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about different career paths and get a firsthand look at what it's like to work in different fields. Students learned about the day-to-day responsibilities of the jobs they shadowed and gained valuable insights into the education and training required for these careers.

Wynne High School's Family and Consumer Science classes recently began using their fully functional kitchens at the temporary High School campus. Students tested food to check for temperatures and baked homemade desserts for the Intermediate School’s Veterans Day performance.

Benefit for Tornado Survivors On Saturday, November 11, Delta Gin will host a benefit dinner and silent auction to help tornado survivors repair their homes. Students can earn community service hours by serving dinner and assisting with the auction. How to Help: Sign up to volunteer by contacting Leanne Lovell at (870) 588-5329. Dress Code: Jeans and a nice shirt.

Wynne Intermediate School celebrated Veterans Day with a special program that honored our veterans and their service. It was a day of learning, patriotism, and appreciation.

Our 6th-grade GT students had an inspiring morning collaborating with Ms. Melanie Ricker and Dr. Tew from Arkansas State University! They delved into the exciting Scarlet to Black program at A-State, sparking their creativity and igniting their entrepreneurial spirits as they brainstormed ideas for the upcoming food cart competition. Congratulations to Luke for winning first place in the Scarlet to Black Financial Wellness Challenge last month! We are incredibly proud of his dedication and financial literacy skills. Thank you to Ms. Ricker and Dr. Tew for sharing their expertise and inspiring our future innovators!
