Important Announcement: Schedule Adjustment for Next School Year We'd like to inform you about upcoming changes to the Wynne School District schedule for the 2024-2025 school year. This adjustment supports our teachers' collaboration in the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process. PLCs allow teachers to improve their teaching skills and enhance student performance by sharing best practices. We are introducing a Late Start policy on Mondays to provide dedicated time for PLC activities. Instruction time for students will begin at 9 AM on Mondays, allowing our staff to meet, plan, and discuss strategies. Additional Details: Buses: Buses will run as normal. Bus pickup times remain the same. Students arriving by bus will be supervised until classes begin at 9 AM. Car Riders: Drop-off time remains the same. Staff will be available to monitor students before 9 AM if needed. We will also adjust our start and end times for all school days. Adjusted School Start and End Times: Start Time: 7:55 AM End Time: 3:20 PM We understand schedule changes can affect family routines, and we appreciate your understanding and support. Please contact your school's administrative office if you have questions or need more information.

Important Update: School Closure on April 8 Dear Wynne School District Parents and Guardians, The Wynne School District administration has closely monitored the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8. After carefully considering potential transportation delays and guidance from various state agencies, we have decided to cancel school on Monday, April 8. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. The anticipated influx of out-of-state visitors, high volume of traffic, and potential delays associated with the eclipse could significantly impact student/staff travel times. Students will not miss any instructional time due to this closure. We are rescheduling the already planned student-out day on April 22 to accommodate this change.
